Memorial Day

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!

Saturday night Daniel's dad and brother Chris came over for a BBQ along with our friends Ben, Jamie and their kids. I had a lot of fun! We ate outside under the canape I had set up for my sister's bridal shower even though it was raining a little and cold. We made them suffer! ha. That's how we do it at the Larsen's.

On Monday Daniel and I worked in the yard, went shopping at the mall and around to little stores and then rented Bride Wars. (I was throwing up on Saturday night and Sunday,TMI, so we didn't do anything too exciting. NOT FUN being sick. )

That was our fun weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed theirs!

Sara's Bridal Shower::

I had the great pleasure of hosting my little sister Sara's bridal shower at my house. I had so much fun getting it all ready and planned. I took the full day off of work to get the house and the yard all ready. I borrowed a canape from my parents and bought some fun decorations. (Tikki Torches and ..who knows what they are called..the little balls with lights in them- ha)

I hope my little sister had as much fun as I did. :) I loved seeing everybody...so many people showed up and Sara got some pretty amazing presents!! (lots and lots of things!) The party was the "Alphabet" theme. I assigned every person a letter and they were to bring a gift that went with that letter. I think it made it fun and that way she got a whole variety of presents.

Kelsey did a really fun game where each question Sara got wrong she had to eat a piece of bubble gum. It's so funny because it gets so huge fast and then you can't talk..start drooling..and laughing like crazy.

Thank you mom for all the help you gave me! The food was so good!! :) Thanks for supplying the canape, table, and chairs.

I love you Sara! The wedding is so-o soon! Whoop Whoop...June 11th.

Also..I need to say a BIG THANK YOU to DANIEL. He is the most amazing husband in the world. He left work early to come home to help me. If I do say so myself the yard looked amazing and I owe that to Dan. He did so much work and never complained one second.

Happy birthday Kelsey & Myley!

Yes they do have the same birthday...no they are not twins...they are 3 years apart. =0) Kelsey turned 18 and Myley turned 15 on May 15th! We all went as a family to the Mayan. So good! I love all the divers and the way the restaurant is decorated. I hadn't been there is probably 6-7 years so I was pretty excited to go.

Thanks for letting the whole family celebrate with you girls! Happy Birthday again! I love you both!

Happy Mother's Day

I know, I know...I'm so late, but the way I see it is better late than never. :P

I just want everyone to know how much I love my mom. She is an amazing women and I'm so glad to call her my mother. She has always been such a great example to me. I look up to her so much. I hope someday I can be as gorgeous as she is. =0) This picture was taken I about 2 years ago in Chicago at the John Amico Hair Show. She is a great support in everything I do, and have done throughout the years. Also I want to say that my Mother-in-law is so great too! She has always made me feel so welcome in the family from the start. Daniel has been blessed to have such a great mom!
This picture was also about 2 years ago at Janice's birthday party.
(sister-in-law Erin, Janice and me)I love you both! Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Slack Lining::

Oh my freaking heck...I LOVE slack lining!!! Thanks to Guthrie and Laura for providing the equipment and teaching both me and Daniel. It was so much fun. I'm sure I drove everyone completely insane by hogging it the whole time and still managing to suck at it. I was past frustration trying to get the hang of it, but at the same time I was so addicted that I could not stop. It was AMAZING!

I hated that Daniel was better than I was. (whoo, good for him) hahaha. I was impressed with Daniel's mad skills. It was so much fun to watch him! I hope we go slack lining a lot this summer. (hint hint Guthrie)

DANIEL::

SHANDI::

GUTHRIE::

As you can see by his video and pictures Guthrie is the ultimate pro! He was way fun to watch, he made it look so easy. (Thanks a lot dude....it's NOT EASY)
LAURA::

Oh the beautiful Laura.... (as you can see in her pictures..GORGEOUS... Thanks for putting up with us. I know it's not your favorite thing to do.) She was also very good, her legs didn't shake at all!!... unlike my wet noodles I called my legs. =0)

Thanks again Guth and Laura. We had such a fun day with you both!!!

TGIFriday!

Since the new Nordstrom Rack opened in Sandy a little bit ago, Daniel and I decided it would be a great idea to go check it out. I love that store. We ended up with some great summer/work clothes.
Don't you love my shoes! haha. When I saw then, I HAD to try them on and take a picture.

For lunch we decided to go to TGIF. (For those who don't know, Daniel and I are extremely weird, so we started laughing when we realized we were eating at TGIF on FRIDAY. ...weird I know, but it gave us a good laugh.)When we got home Daniel had to study for a test he was taking the next morning, so I decided that I would take Rhymer for a longboarding with me. I thought she would just pull me around, but I ended up doing all of the work. The back of my leg was killing me by the time we made it back home. :) (I ended going to my parents and back..around 2 1/2 miles) WHOO! Longboards are so much fun!!! Thanks to my brother Sean for letting me borrow it. Soon I'll have one of my own. I just had to make sure I could ride one first.
Later that night we went to the "Sticky Shoe" to watch the movie Taken! That movie is crazy...I loved it. It's sad to know that stuff like that really goes on in the world, so some parts were a little disterbing. Can't beat 3 bucks for a movie for 2!

The Jazz basketball season has come to an end::

I am not a sports writer, or any kind of writer for that matter, but this is a much needed post. As it may have come to your attention the Jazz lost to the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs. I realize that it has taken me awhile to post about the season coming to an end, but I had to fight through the tears, the anguish, the agony and the disbelief before I could get it written.

Daniel and I have had a very enjoyable season together watching the Jazz play. Staying up late nights, staying IN instead of going out on a date, and yelling at the television. (a lot of yelling, punching furniture, and talking smack)

I have to say it was amazing while it lasted. I can't wait for next season to start. Good job boys, well done my friends! Til next season....

Shout out to Ronnie Price!
