Secondhand Serenade Concert::

Our good friend Guthrie and Laura invited us to the Secondhand Serenade concert on Saturday night at Thanksgiving Point. It was a total blast. The weather was perfect and we were able to relax outside and listen to the music. =0)My younger brother Skye and sister Kelsey went together (along with BF Ike) It was fun to meet up with them and hang out for a bit. They got there super early so they were all way close to the stage. We were the furthest back on the grass. ha. Therefore they didn't want to stay back with us for the concert., but at least they came back to say hi. Thanks guys!My little sister Myley was there with some of her friends. I saw her walking by so I made her come talk to us and obviously take a picture with me.Guthrie had the great idea of taking funny pictures while listening to the other bands before Secondhand Serenade. I love this one of Guthrie and Daniel. Rock on!Me and Laura...our rock out picture was super blurry, so here is our normal one. :)This is one where we shook our heads back and forth really fast and this is how it turned out.In this one we were to blink really fast and stick our tongues in and out...masterpiece.haha...they are better than us. I think they practice blinking really fast and sticking their tongues in and out. Guthrie looks pro!Normal one of all of us. :)The one...The only...Secondhand Serenade!For a few songs we walked up by the stage. That was really fun!These are some boys from the band "Single File"...they were one of the bands that played before the main event.Thanks Gillings for taking us. We loved every minute of it.

Pioneer Day::The lovely 24th of July

Poor Daniel had to work on the 24th, so his mom, brother and I hiked to Scout Falls. It was VERY pretty! The whole hike (round trip) was about 4 miles. I thought I was going to die most of the way up. haha. I forgot my inhaler and I felt like I was have an asthma attack at any moment the entire way up. =0)..A few times I even thought to myself..I should tell them I need to go back. There is no way they'll be able to carry me back when I'm unconscious if we get to far. But I decided to carry on and not be such a girl. I couldn't let my younger brother-in-law and my mother-in-law beat me. HA! I made it back safe! (I was glad my mother-in-law had to take a break going up...I NEEDED THE BREAK!..but I for sure let them think that I was good to keep going. LOL) I loved the hike. I wish Daniel could have been there with us! (Everything is better when he is around) I want to hike it again with him, and I'll be sure to be prepared!!

Later that night we went over to Dan's mom's house for a BBQ and fireworks. Always a good combo! Thanks for the great day Larsen's! I had a very good 24th of July!

Kelsey is back from Heritage Tours::

My little sister Kelsey just got back from Heritage Tours this past Thursday. Heritage Tours is a 3 week tour traveling to 23 states in 21 days learning about Joseph Smith. I had the great opportunity to go on the tour 5 years ago when I graduated. People come from all over to go on Heritage Tours...(it's for kids that have just graduated) It's a blast to meet a whole bunch of new kids from all different schools and most of all to learn about Joseph Smith and his life. Here are a few pictures of us welcoming her back! :) I love you Kelsey..I'm so happy we have this experience to share with each other and others.

Jones Family Reunion to Bear Lake::

This past weekend was the Jones Family Reunion (my mom's, mom's side) I always love our family reunions because we get together with 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd cousins! It's a blast to be with everyone that we only see at the reunions. We have cousins, aunts, uncles come from from New York, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho. We all met up at Bear Lake this year and had a blast. It was my first time going to Bear Lake and I loved it. (freezing cold water, but fun)

Sister Myley and ShandiMy dad's friend has a second home by the lake so he was nice enough to let us stay there for the night. They had a huge tree out front with a swing so of course we had to try it out.Our first time out on the Lake!Brother Skye and ShandiScott 22 Mackintosh (Pops)ShandiDaniel....he's so smokin' hot!SkyeAfter boating we met up at the reunion...played some football...Hung out on a spinning thing...hahaThey had a HUGE swing there for little kids. Doesn't seem safe to me. :) We both were able to fit and swing!
Dan schooled my cousins in basketball....yeah, my husband ROCKS!Bestest boy cousin Alex, Daniel and CharlieMy favorite girl cousin Natalie and Shandi on the spinning thing. =0) We got laughing so hard!Now here is Daniel dominating in baseball... Dan, Dan he's MY man, if he can't do it no one can!Went for another round of Wakeboarding...and then we had to load the boat to go home. :(Waiting for my dad to back the trailer into the water.I love driving the boat and pulling people on wakeboards!That was our family reunion. I can't wait until the next one! I have the best family in the world. We have so much fun together!! I love you all!
