My sister Sara had the idea to do a Valentine's Day PROM. We each asked our husbands to the dance. I made a puzzle for Daniel.

Then he answered me back with a different kind of puzzle. =0) He's freaking adorable!

He came home from work with flowers for me!! Gorgeous flowers!

We first went out to dinner is our best dresses and suits! We went to the Thai House in Lehi.

Trip to the Leonardo Museum::

Today we were invited to go to the Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake with Daniel's cousin Kathryn and her husband Blake. It was amazing there! So much to see and do!

Here we are before the museum. Daniel, like usual is making fun of me, which made me laugh, and made for a cool picture. (I think...) :)

Trying out the prosthetic. It was super hard to function with those. I can't imagine having to use those for hands.

Seeing what it would look like without a leg. It was really hard to balance on it. Way harder than it looks.

I had quite a hard time walking around on the double prosthetic feet. A great experience.

I had the pleasure of meeting Australian's XFactor Celebrity Emmanuel Kelly. My family had met him at a retreat in California. He loved my little sister Myley that we wanted to make a special trip to Utah before he went home. While he was here we figured he should do a concert. It was so amazing! He's a blast to be around and has such a drive and motivation to go huge with singing. He spent a few days staying at my parents house and we all loved having him around.

For Christmas some of my siblings rented out the Provo Beach Resort Flowrider for my dad as his present. We had it for a hour of complete fun!! We all got very injured, but well worth it. =0)

Christmas Day:

This year Daniel and I woke up early to be at his mom's house by 7am. We then opened gifts with his mom and two brothers. Then we went to Daniels dad's house and opened gifts with Danny and Dan's brothers. We then went to church with his Dad, who sang in sacrament meeting! Always a pleasure to listen to. Then after that we went home to open gifts from each other. Not a second later, we went to my parents house to open gifts with all my family, and last but not least, we went with my family to my grandparents house for Christmas dinner with all the extended family! WAY FUN DAY!!! Busy, but a blast!

I've been having so much fun watching my little brother Skye play on the Willowcreek 9th grade basketball team. It's awesome to see him out there having fun. He's the first basketball player in our family. (my dad is taking it hard. haha) He's pretty good, and like I said, I love watching him play!!!

I love family nights! We were just hanging around last weekend at my parents house and my sisters friend thought it would be fun for us all to go out bowling! We obviously couldn't say no to bowling, so off we went.

My dad brought in a poster calendar and said that was the prize to the winning couple. haha. It was fun to say we all really wanted that poster and we all played hard for it. Daniel and I dominated the first game by 100 points!! Booya! Then the next game Kelsey and her husband Brian played the best, but luckily our first game was good enough to keep us in the lead and we were able to win the big prize!! :)

After bowling two games we decided to play laser tag! Oh my, I love that game!!! I think I watch too much Prison Break because I was on fire, running around, yelling at my team and watching their backs while we "went in" after people. haha. 7 Year Anniversary::

Happy Anniversary to my boy Daniel! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year on Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for especially being married to Daniel. He's such an amazing guy! We have so much fun together. I love how great we get a long and love being with each other so much. We kept our anniversary tradition going with our....

6th annual Park City Black Friday Shopping!!! This year we invited Dan's brother Mike and My brother Skye. They were lots of fun to have around and I'm glad they came. :) We got to our hotel about 7pm on Thanksgiving. We went swimming and then sat in the hot tub until about 8:30. Then we went to McDonalds to re-gain our strength to shop. :) We went shopping from 10 pm until 3 am. So fun!!! It was about 30 degrees warmer than last year so it was pretty crazy and busy, but we still loved it! I love our little tradition.

This play was amazing and hilarious! I was crying many times from laughing so hard. There were only 4 girls who performed the entire time, and they did such a great job. I want to go back and see it again before it's over.

Daniel and I were able to go run the, Adoption 'Walk With Me' 5k on Saturday morning! We really enjoyed it and it was good to get out and exercise!

England/Scotland Vacation 09/2011:

We had the privilege of traveling to England and Scotland this past September. It was a trip of a lifetime that we will never forget.

We drove a lot in Scotland. When I say "we" I mean Daniel. He was an amazing sport. Wrong side of the car and the wrong side of the road. He was a trooper! Here we are stopped to eat at Fort Williams. I had to get a picture of Daniel with the cool water and boat.

Another spot we just stopped at while driving in Scotland. I couldn't believe how gorgeous everything was. It was breathtaking everywhere you looked.

We've been trying to play tennis lately at Lehi High School. It's been so much fun. We are starting to get the hang of it. I've always bashed tennis players but it's actually really fun and it makes me exhausted to play. I love the workout and hanging out with Daniel. :)

A few months ago. (yes, I'm bad at blogging) I got together with two of my old Elementary School friends. We had so much fun hanging out! I hadn't seen them for 12 years. Wow! It seemed like we hadn't missed a day. I love moments like those!

They both had 2 kids each and Kendra is pregnant with her 3rd. Time flies! We all met at our old Elementary School (Monte Vista, in South Jordan) and we played on the playground and brought lunch. I hope we don't have to wait 12 more years to hang out again. :)

4TH of July Celebration Weekend::

Friday night (the 2nd) we went to a park in Lehi and watched some amazing fireworks! It was like a grand finale for an hour and we were only 100 feet away from they lighting them off.Walking to the West Jordan City Rodeo::Provo City Parade::Swimming and BBQ at my aunts house:: (doing a karate pose) hahalovely fireworks::Daniel's aunt invited us over to her house to watch the fireworks and have a BBQ. She lives on the mountain in Sandy...we were able to see fireworks from all over the valley! I took my little brother and his friend Stockton to the NBA draft party at the Energy Solutions Arena...(I really really wanted to go, so I was glad I had him as an excuse to go. ha)

Thursday April 28th we went to watch my little sister Myley at her school dance company performance. She did amazing. I love watching her dance.

I'm an AUNT!!!! My older brother Tosh and his wife Maggie had the first grandchild. Meet Ezekiel! He came 7 weeks early with an emergency c-section. He was 2lbs 09 oz. 16" long. Little itty bitty thing. I don't get to meet him until June. bummer. I love the pictures updates though.

I turned 25!!! Big year. phew! March 21, 1986 was the day I was born. :) I had SUCH a great birthday. Daniel is the best husband!
He got me way too many presents. Daniel always treats me so well.He bought me the pass of all passes!! (includes) Season pass to Trafalga, (lehi and orem) Season pass to Seven Peaks. Season pass to Owls baseball games, and Season pass to the Utah Flash basketball games! I'm so excited!!!

Daniel and I have gone to Park City on Thanksgiving night for our anniversary the last 5 years. We've had SO much fun with this tradition. We stay at the same Landmark Inn every year, we go swimming and then get ready for all night shopping!!!!

Just leaving the house...At our hotel..Bundling up...it was FREEZING..Out shopping...this is around 2:30 AM...still going strong. :)3:30 am...needed breakfast, so we went to McDonalds. ha ha. Plus it was -2, we needed to get warm again.The next morning with our goods from the night before, getting ready to head back out for round two.We shopped all night, slept 5 hours, checked out of the hotel and continued to shop all day until 5:00 pm when we finally made it home and slept for a few hours. :) SUCH A BLAST!!!! I can't wait until next year. It's my favorite!!

Dan's cousin gave us BYU game tickets. We had so much fun! When we got to the game I found out my sister and her boyfriend were also at the game, when I talked to her, she said, "oh, did you come with dad and Ric?" .."what my dad and my favorite person Ric are here too??" How lucky is that? We had seats at the opposite end of my family members but at half time my dad had us all come to seats that were empty by them. We had a blast, we took MANY pictures and enjoyed all sitting by each other!

Here is a picture of me and my favorite Ric Thompson! This day was especially special to me because Ric ended up passing away just 5 days after this game. I feel VERY fortunate to have been able to spend some time with Ric and to get a awesome picture with him! Ric had been battling brain cancer for the past three years. If any of you are familiar with his story, his two daughters also passed away from brain cancer, one 7 years ago and the other I believe 5 years ago. One of the crazy things about it was that Ric passed away on the 7 year anniversary of his daughter Alex's passing. I bet his daughters were sure glad to see him! I know I would be! We went to see Andrew Belle in concert when he came to Provo. The concert was awesome! We also met a new singer that we love... "Ryan Innes" I wish I got pictures of him. I will when we go to his next concert. :)

Friday October 15th, we went to the Tyler Hilton Concert! We LOVE him! :) 2nd concert of his we've gone to this year.

I can't remember this boys last name, but this is Deon..he was one of the people to open for Tyler.Josiah Lemming also opened for Tyler. He was on American Idol Season 7. He was cut just before the semifinals. He was awesome! Full of LOTS of energy.Up close of Josiah..

Viking Cooking School

My mother in-law took me to the Viking cooking school in Salt Lake on Oct 14th. We had so much fun. The class was 3 hours long. If any of you know me very well, I hate to cook! Hate it! haha....but I still had a lot of fun. I think the experience was the best. I still would never spend 3 hours making a salad, meal and dessert. It seems excessive. :) But that's just me. haha.

Park City...one of the most beautiful places in Utah. We went to Park City for Daniel's birthday, we all had so much fun. Daniel's mom and 2 brothers were there with us to celebrate.

GIRLS CAMP!!!!!!!! I loved loved loved girls camp... Aug 9-13, 2010

My grandama...we call her "Ma" had been completely blind for the past 12 years. She finally had surgery and she can SEE!!! CRAZY!!! We were so so so excited, so was she! :) If you want the complete story, please let me know. It's pretty cool. She hadn't seen me since I was 12. Lets just say, everyone has changed a lot to her. This picture is after she saw Daniel for the first time. She thought he was pretty good looking. I would have to agree!My sister Kelsey and Her boyfriend Brian. Ma had a hard time telling Daniel and Brian apart. She was excited to see Kelsey!I love Ma so much. I'm so grateful she can see life in a new way now. We went to the Park City Art Festival to see Trent Dabbs play. June 14th...family night..

Daniel and I went to a concert on June 12th, we went and saw The Spill Canvas. It was so much fun!! I didn't really know who they were but I loved every second of it. There were three bands that performed before the main event. So awesome! Tyler Hilton was supposed to be there to open for The Spill Canvas and that's why we bought the tickets, but he canceled. Oh well...we got to meet him! I'm okay with that. :)

Memorial Day

We had such a great Memorial Day. We got up early and headed to Malad Idaho. Lots of my aunts, uncles and my cousins all met up there to visit my grandpa's head stone. (he's my only grandparents who has passed, so he gets a little spoiled. ha.)
My grandpa was such a funny guy. I miss him all the time!My mom (becky) and her brothers and sisters. Yes their names all start with a B and their middle names all rhyme. AWESOME!After Idaho we went to my aunts house to eat and hang out. Lots more cousins came to her house to hang. So much fun!!!! ....I was even able to still do a back hand spring. Oh how I miss gymnastics!Here is a good ol' game of hands up stands up. Kelsey, cousin Ana, Skye and Me.It was a very long day, but full of fun and lots of family. Those are the best days right?! =) I enjoy them. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day.

So, Dan bought me concert tickets for my birthday to go see Tyler Hilton on April 24th. I had to wait a whole month for something I really couldn't wait for. ..and then.... the concert was CANCELED!!! NOOOOO!!! I was so bummed! They got stuck in Cheyenne and wouldn't make it in time for the concert. GEEZ, are you kidding me?! I fool you not...the show was not going to happen. After being majorly bummed that night we saw on Twitter, Tyler wrote that he felt super bad and that we should all meet up for breakfast. Of course Daniel and I are in..but I didn't think much of it. I thought it wouldn't happen. The next morning (Sunday 4-25 ) I told Dan to check Twitter and sure enough Tyler posted his Hotel address and said come say hey! We jumped up and got ready as fast as we could and headed to WVC. (doesn't he realize West Valley City is NOT a good town ????)

We got to the Hotel and walked it and sure enough there was THE Tyler Hilton hanging out eating breakfast. I was is awwww! He must have known we were there for him..was the look on my face that obvious? ...He called us over and had us sit down with him and we started talking. NO WAY...you are TYLER HILTON..do you know I love you?? That's what I kept thinking anyway. haha. He was sooo relaxed and easy to talk to. A few more people showed up and it was so much fun.

(it looks better on him. haha)Then he offered to take pictures with all of us and signed a picture of him for each of us.
He called Daniel the smartest man in Salt Lake City...I think because he was the only boy that came to see him. hahaha. He is smart though. =0)Here is my signed picture...notice the jacket he's wearing in the picture? Yes that is the one he borrowed from me. ha. (we totally have both of our pictures framed already..we don't want to ruin it, he's going to be HUGE someday and we already have an autograph.)What an awesome day! Better than the concert. We got to be up close and personal with one of the greatest musicians ever. YAY! Plus, he has rescheduled the concert..so we'll get to see him again. Oh happy day!

Ah, Easter. Such a fun day. First of all General Conference was so good!!! I loved all the talks.
We went to Daniel's mom's house to watch the first session of conference and had breakfast. mmm mmm.

Next we were off to my families house to watch the 2nd session of conference, eat dinner, and have an Easter egg hunt.

My Birthday...24!

My birthday was on March 21st...but I didn't feel like posting because I have been so sick. Blah..and I didn't take pictures because I have a HUGE cold sore on my upper lip. (I know..I'm vane)

I did have an AMAZING birthday! My husband is WAY too good to me. Dan's sister and family were in town from Texas and 3 of their kids slept over the night before my big day. Dan, Mike and Andrew came in and woke me up saying Happy Birthday. It was really cute. After they left Daniel set up my presents..... I was so excited to open them. Daniel is the best present giver EVER!As you can see I got.... New Moon! Two freaking cute headbands! Way cute pants! Gift card to Victoria Secret! and concert tickets to see Tyler Hilton next month!!!!! (he is a "real" singer/musician, but he also plays "Chris Keller" on One Tree Hill) I can't wait to go.Dan's sister got me this super cute jewelry holder and a way cute bracelet.Not photoed...I got a "Team Jacob" shirt from my family along with a gift card to Nordstrom and DSW shoes... LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Daniel's family got me the most comfortable mattress thing..(I can't remember what it's called) You put it on top of your mattress and it feels so nice.

I had such a great Birthday!!! Oh yeah..the night before my Birthday Daniel took me to eat at PFChangs. So delicious! We hadn't been there since he took me for my 18th Birthday. It made it really special for us. On Monday (the day after my Birthday) we went shopping and I used my Victoria Secret gift card and went to scope out Nordstrom Rack and DSW...I couldn't decide on what to get so Dan suggested I not buy anything and go back so I get something I really need or want. Not just buy things because I'm just excited to get new things. Ha...he's so smart. =0)

All in all I had a great Birthday weekend! It was so much fun hanging out with all of the family. I wish I had felt better so I would have done more. I got so tired fast that I never wanted to stay out for very long. I'm 24!!!

One Tree Hill

A dream come true!! The long story of the most amazing day of our life is posted at the bottom. Short version is that we got to be extra's in our favorite TV show One Tree Hill. They were filming in Park City so we HAD to take work off to go see the action. It was so much fun!!! Me and Daniel were in a lot of shots and got to stand right next to all of the actors for hours and hours. I can't even begin to explain how unbelievable great this was! ~

This is where a lot of it was filmed. The Egyptian Theater...The first time we saw Mark Schwan from across the street. I thought I was going to faint. =0)...My adorable husband!...Us with Paul Teal..he's an actor on the show. He was so nice to us...The amazingly beautiful Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols...Me by the movie premier sign...Some of the actors on the show...They are all so STUNNING!...awww, "Julian" ~played by Austin Nichols...so cute...James Lafferty...plays "Nathan Scott"...The Crew...James Lafferty and Jackson Brundage... "Nathan Scott and James Lucas Scott" (father and son on the show)...She is BEAUTIFUL!! I didn't think she could be any more gorgeous. She is STUNNING in person. Sophia Bush...plays "Brooke Davis"...Austin Nichols....A day we will NEVER forget!!!! ~

Shandi and I heard that One Tree Hill would be coming to Utah from Twitter. They announced, ‘we’re going to a state with four letters in its name and 2 vowels”, and we knew it had to be Utah. We’ve been huge fans of the show for years and they always film in North Carolina, this is one of only two or three times they have filmed outside of Wilmington.

Shandi and I went up on Tuesday night after work, we thought they might be hanging around but didn’t really know for certain where. We did know they would be filming at the famous Egyptian Theater in Park City the next day, but considering how much we love this show, we were willing to make the 2 hour round trip drive just have a chance to see something. Before we knew they were coming to Utah to film the season and possibly series finale, we talked about going to Wilmington to see them film, that’s how much we love this show. Anyway, we drove up to Park City and found the theater and noticed a movie poster that was in place for filming the next day (Part of the plot of the show is that one of the characters is a movie producer\ screen writer and he and another character get their movie to Sundance.) We saw the poster and knew we were in the right place. We hung out and got pictures and planned where we would park the next day. It was getting pretty late and things looked slow so we headed home.
We got up the next morning at 6:30 am, got ready, and were up at Park City by 8:30 am. Other than a few crew members, we were the first people there. We knew from some news articles that they would be filming at the theater and this was confirmed by the equipment being setup. Shandi and I knew it was a few hours off so we decided to grab some hot chocolate and hang out.

Later we noticed several people gathering in a conference room in a mall across the street so we headed that way. We realized they were gathering extras, all of them were called from agencies etc. and few knew much at about the show, nothing compared to Shandi and I, the local One Tree Hill experts. :) We asked some of the people in charge of extras if they needed more people; they said they were full, but to hang out just in case. A little bit later we were asked if wanted to be extras, and of course we did, so we filled out some paperwork and we were in like a dirty shirt.
So an hour or two in, things were looking up, we had planned to go stand out in the cold all day just for the chance to see some of the people from our favorite show and to snap a few pictures, we were already getting much more. Oh, did I mention we were going to be paid 100.00 for the day, for being on the set of our favorite TV show? We were informed of the script and filming plans and were placed outside the theater. Shandi and I got split up at this point and were for an hour or so, I was pretty bummed about that, but considering everything going on, I was still having a great time. Shandi got picked to stand in front of the theater by Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols, probably the two best looking people I have ever seen in my life. No trick photography involved here, if you didn’t know them or anything about the show and just saw those two walking down the street, you would think “wow, that they must be movie stars”.
These shots took up a lot of the morning, and as most of the extras were taken back inside, Shandi and I, the die-hard fans, decided to go back outside to snap pictures and hang out.
The one downside to being on set was that while we got to stand right next to them most of the day, we also couldn’t take any pictures. So as we were hanging out, the set director asked Shandi and me to come back out for something.
In the next shot it was me and Shandi walking into the theater and only us and Austin Nichols (Julian), it was pretty awesome. We got to walk into the theater to open the shot and then hang out inside while they finished that take. This theater has a very small foyer, so it was me and Shandi and Mark Schwann the creator, director and screen writer of the show. One Tree Hill exists because of Mark Schwann. Anyway, he was the nicest guy you could ever meet, he joked around with us and we got to hang out with him for an hour or so while they did the scene. Inside we also saw Jana Kramer quite a bit; she plays Alex Dupre on the show. For me, this was one of the highlights of the day. Several times we had to pinch ourselves, we’ve watched this show religiously for years and to be able to hang out with the director and stars of the show was way beyond anything we had expected.
After this scene was finished, they packed up and headed up to do a snowboarding scene. Shandi and I didn’t bring gear for this, because we hadn’t even planned on doing anything but taking pictures from the sidewalk. For the next few hours we got to go eat a good lunch, (all paid for by the show)and got to see Jackson Brundage, who plays Jamie Scott on the show, funny little kid.

After lunch we headed back to wait for the next scene. One thing I learned today is that there is a lot of waiting for everyone and an incredible amount of planning and people involved. The cast and crew work unbelievably hard and work long, long hours. It was really interesting to see how many takes it took to get it just right, and how many setups they had to do to get all of the camera angles they wanted. Many times they had two cameras going.
We knew the night scene was going to consist of filming people coming out of the theater, like they were leaving the movie, and to film a night club scene. We knew all of this was going to be outside, and it was only getting colder. We waited and waited and believe it or not, extras have to go through hair and makeup and wardrobe, so this adds to the waiting time. As they started filming the night scenes, before they needed extras, a lot more fans started to show up and the cast started doing pictures with fans. Shandi and I were able to sneak away and get a picture with Mark Schwann. Of course, our camera broke, so we had to ask one of our new friends we met that day, to take the picture for us. Mark was awesome; he remembered us from earlier and said he made sure to hold the shot of us coming in the theater so we would be on screen. He was probably my favorite person we met. He was involved in every aspect of what happened on set.
After we got pictures we headed back inside, there was something of an Extra’s Nazi watching over us, so we had to sneak back in unnoticed. When we headed back outside, we skipped right to the club scene. Most of the extras were in a line, like they were waiting to get into the club. Because my wife is gorgeous, we got picked to stand in this hallway\ alley that was made up to look like the inside of the club. We and one other couple got to stand inside. As they started filming, we didn’t really know who would be in the scene, and from where we were standing, we couldn’t tell for sure. But after they said their lines and got into the “club” they walked down the alley way towards us; in this scene were Jana Kramer (Alex), Shantell VanSanten (Quinn,) Lee Norris (Mouth), Robert Buckley (Clay), Stephen Colletti (Chase) and Antwon Tanner (Skills). They did about 15 takes and every time they came down the hallway and walked past us. As they went back to reset, we got to talk to them a little bit, but like before, no pictures on set. This group was similar to the first in that, they were all unbelievably good looking.
The show took an 8 week hiatus from the air to film the final episodes of the season, so the episodes that have already aired, weren’t too far from what they were filming while we were there, so we knew a lot of what was happening with the story line. We had a great time, it was far better than anything we could have expected. We don’t know the exact air date, but it will be a Monday night in May. We already own all of the seasons and will of course buy this one when it comes out on DVD. Although this is all a bit childish, we felt pretty lucky, how many people can say they got to be on set and on camera of the series finale of their all time favorite TV show? Pretty cool.

Laugh until you cry..

Last night we were supposed to take out our friend Kristy for her "bachelorette party" but then we decided to bring the boys a long too. That made it for a very interesting night. =0)

We are all smiling and there is Heidi with only one eye open and a "not knowing what's going on" smirk. I think it was something you had to be there for. ha.We decided to switch the rolls and let Heidi redeem herself. Now all of us have the "what the heck" face and Heidi is proudly smiling and giving a great thumbs up! Way to go Heidi!Heidi, me and Kristy... I love these girls.It was such a fun night!! We laughed and laughed about nothing. One of the waiters at IHOP (not ours) loved our table and kept coming over to talk to us. It was so late and everything was hilarious. It was a BLAST!!!

When I heard the news you were traded to the Grizzlies I was deeply saddened. As much as I tried, I couldn't hold back the tears. I didn't know I was this attached to you. Jazz trade Brewer to Grizzlies

The Utah Jazz traded Ronnie Brewer to the Memphis Grizzlies Thursday for a protected 2011 first-round pick.

Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said the deal came together just before the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.

O'Connor says the Jazz have some depth at Brewer's position, so they could afford to trade Brewer, their first-round pick from the 2006 draft. Brewer is making $2.7 million this season and will be a restricted free agent this summer.

"We felt like we gain an asset for drafts coming up," Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said Thursday. "We felt like we had a lot of players that were similar."

The deal gives the Grizzlies yet another athletic swingman and allows the Jazz to save money.

Utah had a bit of a logjam at Brewer's position. His salary was essentially double that because the Jazz are over the luxury-tax threshold.

O'Connor said the trade won't put the Jazz under the luxury tax penalty, but it does get them closer and gives them some stock in future drafts, possibly as early as next year.

"If we didn't get an asset back we wouldn't have made the deal," he said.

Brewer started all 53 games this season and 80 of 81 last year. He has been starting since his second season in the league and averaged 10.5 points in 266 games for the Jazz.

Brewer's agent, Henry Thomas, said there had been talk about a deal with the Grizzlies for more than a month, but it had died down until the last-minute trade Thursday.

"It was a little bit of a surprise," Thomas said. "I think it's a little too fresh for him to really have a good handle on his feelings right now."

Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace said Brewer is a winning NBA player.

"Ronnie is an intelligent, versatile player who is an excellent ballhandler and defender," he said.

x96 Film Festival::

This was a freaking BLAST!!! Our friend Aron (no I did not spell his name wrong) invited us to come see his short film that he entered in the film festival. We had never been to one before so we thought it would be awesome to go and support him.

All the movies were so cool. I think there were 18 all together that we watched. All the movies were so different. Some funny, boring, (haha) serious, and scary. Totally sweet though! They even gave us food and some great desserts.

I hope we keep going to these types of things. It was a great experience. Aron did awesome too! I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I had a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day this year. Daniel and I just hung out and relaxed on Saturday night. (Those are some of my favorite nights...just relaxing together) Then on Sunday we went to my family's house to eat dinner. I love being with my family. We always have so much fun!I made Daniel this poster. I love that boy!My mom gave us each a carmel apples and a bag of chocolates. So good!On Monday night my sister Sara through a Valentine's Day Party. It was so much fun.

I'm sorry to everyone, but this is like my journal so I do need to post the Jazz game that we went to last Wednesday (02-03-10)

The Jazz of course won, they are pretty much AMAZING! It was a fun/crazy night. Dan's brother and his date Madi went with us. We've never doubled with him before so that was a lot of fun. I hope we do more often.

We got there an hour early like usual..so the place is still pretty empty. I love watching the players warm up and to get right down by the court.
The news guys getting ready to do their thaaang.During one of the time outs they brought out some people competing in the winter Olympics. It was pretty sweet. They are such talented people. {when I grow up, I'm going to be in the Olympics}These were the funniest ladies. I searched online and I can't find what their group is called. I believe you have to be 52 and older to be in their dance group. There were so many of them.Check out a video of them.
Enough messing around...lets get back to the game. =0)And there you have it. Another great game and a fun date night with my Bestest Friend Daniel.

So I love listeing to KBer and I always call in to try and win stuff. Even if I don't know what I'm calling to win. Today on my way home I just heard "CALL right now and be caller #10". They gave their numbers and I hurried as fast as I could! I was caller #2, and I re-dialed and then was caller #6, (that never happens...well 2 other times to me. ha!) and then I was caller #10!!!! I was so excited. I got 2 tickets to see Wolfman at the premiere. The show doesn't look that great, but I WON! I freaking won! I love it! Now I just need to find time to run to Salt Lake to pick up the tickets at the radio station.

Yes, I know. We went to another Jazz game on Monday night. It was Jazz vs Suns and it was an AMAZING game!! My hands hurt so bad from clapping and my voice was all scratchy by the end of the night. (same with Daniel) We went crazy! =0)
Tip off. Lets Go Jazz! I was so worried at half time. We just couldn't seem to catch up.Half time show...one armed juggler. He was dang good.I love my husband for always taking me to the games. I'm sure he gets embarrassed of me for screaming and jumping up and down so much. haha.My man "Millie" Millsap... Go 24!da' boys!We made such a come back and more. I couldn't sit for most of the game. It was such a GREAT GREAT GREAT game!I love this game, and I love Utah's team. I love that I get to share these fun memories with my husband. You guessed it, another Jazz game! They played against the Heat. Jazz kicked their butt. It was an awesome game! WE LOVE THE JAZZ!! (can you tell yet?)

Mackintosh Family Christmas Party~

On Saturday morning we went to Salt Lake to have the Mackintosh family Christmas party. We played some really fun games and watched a slide show that my sister made of pictures of the family with my grandma and grandpa.

It's always fun to see cousins you don't get to see too often. I love all my family! =0)

5 year Anniversary: Thanksgiving: Park City shopping:

Daniel Wells Larsen Jr married Shandi Rae Mackintosh on November 24, 2004. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past week! Whoop Whoop! I can't believe it's been 5 years already. It goes by so fast. "Time flies when you're having fun." =o)

Five things I love about Daniel/being married:

1~ We always have fun together. Whether it's listening to music together, off on some big adventure or everything in between. We love hanging out.

2~ He's my strength and my encouragement. He is always so thoughtful and forgiving. He never gives up on me. I know for a fact I would have crumbled without his support many times. He is one of a kind. He truly is AMAZING.

3~ "Dang boy, you fine!" He is so adorable/sexy/cute/handsome. I don't know how I got so lucky. He always out dresses me. I never have to worry what he goes out in public wearing. He's always been a sharp dresser. So HOT! haha.

4~ He is such a hard worker. He works full time and goes to school full time. I don't know how he does it, but he never gives up. He still manages to find the time and energy to make dinner for me when I get home from work. (he probably finds the energy because I'm such a horrible cook. ha.) Also, Daniel is an amazing COOK.

5~ We have gone through so much together in our 8 years of knowing each other. We never give up. We try every minute to make each other happy and to not be selfish. We love each other so much and I know it's corny, but we really are each others best friends. I would choose Daniel over anyone to spend my time with. I have had so much fun over the years and can't wait for many more years together.

Happy 5 year Anniversary Lover Boy!

On Wednesday night (the night before Thanksgiving) Daniel's mom cooks us Thanksgiving dinner. It was so good!!! I love the tradition. (who doesn't like an extra Thanksgiving meal?) We all had a lot of fun hanging out.

On Thanksgiving Daniel's dad invited us over to eat. He cooked a great meal that was delicious. I forgot to take a picture with our Wednesday night group so I made sure I got one on Thanksgiving. in photo...Danny (dad), Daniel, me, Mike and Chris...
Our tradition for the past four years (this year included) we go to Park City and stay the night on Thanksgiving and then go shopping on Black Friday. This year since it was a 5 year we stayed an extra night. I love going up there, walking around, shopping, swimming and eating our caramel apples that are to die for!

and we are off to shop!We ended up shopping from midnight until around 3:00 am. We then went back to bed for a few hours and then...We're off again.
Lets just say we had a successful shopping day. :)We had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year. They have such great deals. We love the outlets. We ate great food while there and also had 3 caramel apples. I'm obsessed. =o)

What a great anniversary week! I didn't want it to end. We both took off the full week to hang out. It's so hard to go back to work after enjoying all the free time together. .....Same place and time next year!
